Years ago, I fell in love with the barbell deadlift.

It was something I avoided for a long time out of fear of injury. But after years of steering clear of it, I “stepped up to the bar” and gave deadlifting a try.

At first, I didn’t go beyond the 225 pound range until that felt easy. Then I threw a 25 pound plate on each side.
